Gbangura Suya | Our Story
Cooking since I was seven
My cooking started when I was seven, in my mother's restaurant in Ibadan, Nigeria. Today it's on Highway 20 in Loganville, Georgia.
Ibadan
I learned by doing. In my mother's kitchen, the job was simple: send people home happy with a good meal.
A lifelong dream
Opening Gbangura Suya has been a dream of mine for a long time. We cook suya bowls, egusi soup and fufu the way I grew up with them.
If it's your first time
Never had Nigerian food? Come anyway. Plenty of our guests are new to it, and we'll happily answer your questions.
The patio
We have a patio, so you can eat outside when the weather's good.
